The Newtownmountkennedy Town Team is a dedicated group of local volunteers and stakeholders working to drive our town’s social, economic, and physical revitalisation. By collaborating with Wicklow County Council, the Town Team hopes to transform community-led ideas into actionable projects designed to make our village a more vibrant and sustainable place to live and work.

There are six Town Team working groups which focus on

(i) Community, Education & Youth Services

(ii) Sports & Recreation

(iii) Culture & Built Heritage

(iv) Economic Development & Tourism

(v) Natural Environment & Biodiversity

(vi) Public Spaces & Streetscapes.
