An Garda Síochána
While Newtownmountkennedy has a local station just off the Main Street, it operates on a part-time basis. Primary 24-hour coverage for the area is provided by Greystones and Bray Garda Stations.

Fire & Rescue
The village is protected by the Wicklow County Council Fire Service. Response is typically coordinated from the high-tech stations in Greystones or Wicklow Town. These crews are trained not only for fire suppression but also for road traffic accidents and specialised rescue operations along the N11 corridor.
