The Newtownmountkennedy Events Committee is a standalone group dedicated to making our town a better place to live, work, and visit by bringing our community together. We strive to build a vibrant, connected community by celebrating local offerings and fostering a deep sense of civic pride.

As one of the town’s central communication hubs, the Committee manages the official Newtownmountkennedy town website to keep everyone updated on local news and events.

Beyond digital outreach, we aim to provide strategic guidance and a “helping hand” to local clubs and organisations to ensure their own events are a success. Our committee also serves as a transparent resource for assisting in coordinating community funding and helping groups and organisations in securing grants to invest back into the town’s future.

Guided by our founding members, we ensure all activities remain inclusive, non-political, and open to everyone in the community.
