A new round of the Community Sport Facilities Fund is opening, with increased funding available for sports clubs and community organisations across Wicklow.
Funding will include:
Up to €250,000 for local projects
€250,000–€550,000 for Tier 2 projects
Up to €750,000 for larger multi-sport projects
The new scheme also includes simpler application requirements, easier eligibility rules and greater opportunities for partnerships between sports clubs and schools in Wicklow.
Registration opens Monday 28th September
Applications open Monday 19th October
Closing date: Friday 26th February 2027
I’m encouraging clubs across Wicklow to start preparing now and make the most of this significant funding opportunity.
More information will be available from the Department shortly.
