We’re delighted to share some great news for our community — we now have a defibrillator (AED) installed in Wicklow Hills, kindly provided by @wicklowcoco.

It is located on the main road of the estate, where you would turn for the playground.

A huge thank you to the two residents who kindly installed the AED — Brian and Stephen — we really appreciate your time and effort.

We’d also like to sincerely thank the owners of the wall where the AED has been installed for allowing it to be placed there for the benefit of the whole community, as well as Janice Brady from @newcastlewicklowcfr for her time and information provided.

This is a fantastic addition to Wicklow Hills and to our town, and a real step forward for everyone’s safety.
